The Entrepreneur's Circle welcomes Joann MacMaster from Tech Launch Arizona (TLA).
Joann has had a front row seat in the startup world both in helping startups as a mentor and investor as well as her own experience as a startup founder. Joann will share many lessons learned - both from her own experience as well as those companies she has advised and invested in. Bring your questions for this highly interactive session!
Joann MacMaster is the Senior Director of Venture Development for the University of Arizona's TLA, focused on the commercialization of UA IP through the development of startup companies. She is passionate about regional ecosystem development and has recently been named to the Startup Tucson Advisory Board and a recipient of the Larry Hecker and Sherry Hoskinson lasting Community Builder Award. She is an AUTM Board member and UA Academic Leadership Institute Fellow, and previously served as the President of the Arizona Business Incubation Association. She returned home to Tucson in 2000 after living and working in Europre for over a decade and holds an MBA from Edinburgh Scotland.
