Entrepreneur's Circle - David Allen PhD - Tech Launch Arizona

After nearly six years at the helm of Tech Launch Arizona, Vice President David Allen is retired April 2018. Dr. Allen came to the UA after a more-than-30-year career in technology-related research, instruction and practice. Before his arrival in Arizona, he served as Associate Vice President for Technology Transfer at the University of Colorado, with similar positions at The Ohio State University and Ohio University, and as a faculty member at Penn State University. Dr. Allen's depth of experience and expertise had great impact at Tech Launch Arizona, and TLA has made important advances for the future of the UA and Arizona. In the 2016-2017 academic year, TLA outperformed its previous high marks, with 261 invention disclosures, 334 U.S. patents filed, 105 total executed licenses and options and 15 startups formed.
