Intentional Growth™ are for business owners and entrepreneurs who want to educate themselves on how to grow the value of their company with the end in mind. The 5 Principles will help you shift your mind set away from annual income to focusing on long term value creation. This new mind set will enable you to grow the value of your business, give you choices and the freedom to hit your goals.
- The curriculum is based on The 5 Principles and use two case studies that have fully built out personal and company details with 8 figure revenues.
- There is no confidential information shared, it is two days and a 200 page binder with exercises and informatoin on what these two case studies did to grow the value of their companies with their core objectives, financial targets, desired exits and timeline in mind.

WHAT YOU'LL LEARN (using the case studies)
The 5 Principles
Principle #1 – Your Drivers - What is important to you? If you were able grow and exit your business on your terms, what would be your non-negotiables? Would you exit your day to day role and keep your ownership or would you rather sell your ownership and keep control over the business and your role? There is no wrong answer but you need to identify what you want from the buseiness and why so you can intentionally engineer the outcome you want.
Principle #2 – Financial Targets - How much money do you need or want when you sell? There are 3 financial targets you should identify and track: 1.) Your target annual income 2.) Your business’ value and 3.) Your assets outside of your business. Your financial targets will impact the timing and exit you eventually pick.
Principle #3 – Exit Options - There are many ways to sell or transfer a business. Each option will have a significant impact on your valuation, timing, amount of money you receive up front vs. overtime and most importantly, your role post-closing. We’ll cover Internal Transfers, Acquisition Entrepreneurs, Employee Owned Stock Option Plans (ESOPs), Private Equity and Strategic buyers.
Principle #4 – Increase Value - The more sustainable, predictable, and transferable your cash flow is, the more your company is worth. You'll learn the 8 functional areas of a business and focus on these to increase your company’s value.
Principle #5 - Team of Advisors – How to hire the best team of advisors at the right time, for the right price and for the right reasons. Get them to collaborate in order to help you optimize your plan, save you money and secure your desired outcome.
