Research often suggests that a majority of business failures can be attributed to premature scaling, founder conflict or an inability to find product-market fit. However, behind each of these - and also behind many of the other reasons a company might fail - lies a specific and preventable cognitive error, often made by the founder.
We will go over the top 3 or 4 cognitive errors made by founders, how to make yourself more aware of your own cognitive biases and what you can do to minimize the impact they have of your business.
As part of this workshop, we'll review my approach to conducting unbiased empathy interviews with current and prospective customers to eliminate false negatives and discover their deepest underlying fears and motivators.
