Shiva Planjery is a co-founder of Codelucida – a technology firm based on custom designed low-density parity-check solutions to support the latest flash memories and other emerging memories for the highest performance and endurance.
In 2018, Codelucida became one of the first investments made by Tucson’s own UA Ventures in addition to obtaining other investment by Desert Angels and Tech Angels. Since then he and the company has received additional awards and recognition as they continue to pioneer their technology in an increasingly competitive marketplace.
Shiva will share his story as a technical founder, what he’s learned as a CEO and what advice he has for other founders and entrepreneurs as they grow their companies.
About Shiva Planjery: Shiva received a PhD in Electrical Engineering (EE) from the University of Arizona in 2013, and from the University of Cergy-Pontoise, France, in 2012 under a dual doctoral degree program. He is a co-inventor of the novel patented LDPC decoding algorithms and concepts that the company was founded on as part of his doctoral research. After his graduate studies, he co-founded the company with his PhD advisors, and since then has served as its CEO.
